About Jess
My Story
My love for dogs started as long as I can remember. After years of working in different industries, I decided to follow my passion and train as a professional dog groomer.
I created Jess' Suds & Smiles to provide calm, one-to-one grooming in my home salon where every dog receives my full attention from start to finish.
Because every dog deserves patience, kindness and understanding.
I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we always had dogs, Chocolate Labs. I love their loyal, quirky and unpredictable behaviour!
I worked for the London Ambulance Service and as an Emergency Medical Technician. It taught me patience, compassion and how to stay calm in stressful situations - all skills that help me every day in my grooming business.
I wanted to create a calm, low stress environment where every dog gets my full attention. No cages, no rushing just a peaceful experience tailored to each dog's needs.
I groom from my home in Moulsecoomb, Brighton. It's a quiet, comfortable space where dogs can relax, feel safe and enjoy a stress-free groom. A real home from home experience.
When I'm not grooming, you'll usually find me building Lego, spending time with my family and enjoying a good cup of Yorkshire Tea!
